There are some provisions to pay for certain templates from some providers but strictly speaking that is not necessary. The same sort of content management system, even if you could find one with Joomla’s amazingky extendable functionality another way, which is doubtful, would cost you thousands, making Joomla a true bargain – and free!

However, Joomla offers very good support services for any of their solutions. Joomla is highky extendable, so it can be a little tough to learn how to use it, but there is plenty of online help available. You can also try a demonstration model of Joomla prior to getting the full package for yourself.
So, there really is no catch. Joomla is free, secure and reliable and the support is good. Sure the learning curve may be steep when you first get Joomla, but you will be glad you got used to using it when you see all the things it can do for you.
